ROCKVILLE, Md.—Choice Hotels International announced today that the new Cambria Hotel & Suites Rockville is officially open for business at the Rockville Town Square. Built by Duball and owned and operated by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Cambria Hotel & Suites Rockville sits two blocks from the Rockville Metrorail station and steps from restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. The property opening comes on the heels of the Cambria Hotel that opened last year in Washington, D.C.’s Shaw neighborhood.
“Cambria is thrilled to welcome business travelers from the more than 100 large companies in the Rockville area with open arms,” says Michael Murphy, senior vice president, upscale brands, Choice Hotels International. “At Cambria, we aim to offer a unique, upscale experience with service that makes everybody feel like somebody, which is why we chose to partner with Crescent Hotels & Resorts, whose knowledge and expertise in upscale hospitality helps bolster the Cambria brand’s continued commitment to offering high-level service at a great value.”
Located directly across the street from the Choice Hotels headquarters, the 140-suite hotel spans eight floors of the 15-story west tower of the Rockville Town Square, one of two towers in the mixed-use high-rise complex. In addition to the Cambria Hotel, the complex will also house 40,000 square feet of street-level retail space.
The property features a bar-centric restaurant, an indoor heated pool and fitness center, and three meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 106 people for banquets and conferences.
