NASHVILLE, Tennessee—At Home Studio Living will break ground in the Nashville suburb of Smyrna, Tennessee, which will be the first in a platform of service accommodations planned across the United States and designed for those who travel for extended periods of time. The 119-room property is by Three Pillars Group and co-developer Seven Seas Ventures and will reside within the Marketplace at Smyrna.

“We founded At Home Studio Living to offer practical accommodations to hardworking travelers on a budget who don’t want to sacrifice the comforts, technological conveniences, and necessities of home,” said Dinesh Chandiramani, partner at Three Pillars Group. “At Home Studio Living emphasizes guestroom quality and convenience, at a much better value for the price. It’s a great experience at a reasonable cost.”

Three Pillars began developing the At Home Studio Living concept in 2021 and is launching its initial location following the December 2022 site acquisition; the Tennessee location is part of a larger strategic plan to add five more locations in the next 36 months. At Home Studio Living is planning to build its second location in Panama City Beach, Florida.

“Companies continue to relocate to Nashville, which creates opportunities for surrounding towns,” said Ryan Wall, of Three Pillars Group. “We’re excited to launch the first At Home Studio Living in Smyrna, offering traveling visitors a prime place to stay in the community. This will also drive new economic activity to the Marketplace at Smyrna and benefit everyone in the area.”

Geared towards long-term travelers, including technology and essential workers, At Home Studio Living was inspired by guests looking for an extended-stay option with the amenities of home. Often, guests have budgets that require them to sacrifice the comforts of home. At Home Studio Living delivers access to comfort amenities at reasonable costs. These include guestroom kitchens, WiFi, on-site laundry, outdoor community patios with grills, and the integration of at-home technology.

“It’s exciting to partner with Three Pillars Group on the roll-out of this new prototype in Tennessee, which will also be the chain’s flagship location,” said Camilo Giraldo, founder and president of Seven Seas Ventures. “Given our regional construction experience and Three Pillars’ 70+ years of combined hospitality and real estate involvement, our groups collectively bring a skillset that other developers can’t offer.”

The At Home Studio Living brand is launching with the opening of Smyrna in Q1 of 2025.

“The At Home Studio Living concept will meet the lodging demands of the hotel industry’s fastest-growing segment of travelers, allowing us to scale the concept quickly into high-demand markets across the United States,” said Leo Sand of Three Pillars Group.
