PARIS—Hilton Worldwide has reached an agreement which will see it rebrand the historic Concorde Opéra hotel under its Hilton Hotels and Resorts brand in late 2014.
The property was recently acquired by Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe IV. A significant restoration project is set to take place prior to the hotel being launched as the Hilton Paris Opéra next year.
“Paris has long been considered one of the world’s great tourist destinations, in part due to its rich architectural and cultural history,” said Rob Palleschi, global head, Hilton Hotels and Resorts. “This hotel is renowned for its intricate façade and today’s agreement will pair one of Paris’ best known buildings with our signature hotel brand. We’re excited to be creating a Hilton hotel of exceptional quality in the Hilton Paris Opéra.”
Business and leisure facilities at the 266 bedroom Hilton Paris Opéra hotel will include an executive floor and lounge, meetings facilities, and food and beverage components. Hilton Worldwide will operate the hotel under a management agreement on behalf of Blackstone.
