Hospitality Lodging Systems Adds Two Haven Inn & Suites

Hospitality Lodging Systems (HLS) has opened two new Haven Inn & Suites—a 140-room conversion in the Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain and a 39-room newly-built property in the Willowbrook neighborhood of Houston’s northwestern suburbs.

The Texas hotel has a two-floor, exterior corridor design. It’s close to corporate offices, Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, Sam Houston Race Park where horse racing and music concerts are held, and the Willowbrook Mall, a 161-store regional shopping complex. This Haven Inn is the second to open in Houston this year, with the first being a 42-room property that opened in March about 8 miles from downtown. Both hotels are new construction and are related in ownership.

In Georgia, the new Haven Inn is near corporate, medical, and educational facilities. It is also adjacent to the state’s number one attraction—Stone Mountain Park, a 3,200-acre site for activities such as camping, hiking, festivals, concerts, and laser light shows.

“We introduced the Haven brand in December of 2014 to offer comfortable, attractive accommodations at an affordable price,” says Doug Collins, Chairman and CEO of HLS. “It’s a message that is attracting both budget-conscious travelers and ROI-minded owners.”
