DALLAS—Aimbridge Hospitality has been awarded the management contract for the Detroit Metro Airport Marriott. The hotel, located minutes from Detroit’s Metro Wayne County Airport, serves as the gateway to local attractions such as The Henry Ford Museum, Cobo Center, Ford Motor World Headquarters, and General Motors Corporate Offices.
The Detroit Metro Airport Marriott offers four floors, 244 rooms, and 6,600 square feet of meeting space. Amenities include a fitness center and an indoor swimming pool, wireless high-speed internet, and a live flight information monitor.
This property represents the seventh full-service Marriott-branded hotel in Aimbridge Hospitality’s management portfolio. “The Detroit Metro Marriott presents another great opportunity to expand our relationship with Marriott brands and work together in an important market like Detroit,” said Dave Johnson, president and CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality.
