SPOKANE, Wash.—RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) announced today the company has entered into a franchise license agreement with Hospitality Associates of Harrisburg, L.P., the owner of the former Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Harrisburg, Penn. The property is expected to convert to the Red Lion Hotel designation on or about May 13, 2015.

“We look forward to differentiating ourselves in the market with this change in branding,” said Mason Mednick of Milestone Hospitality Management, LLC, a full-service hospitality management and ownership group based in Baltimore, Md., which is an affiliate of the general partner of the owner. “Milestone is excited to be a part of Red Lion’s expanded presence nationwide and, in particular, in key markets along the East Coast.”

The hotel has 274 guest rooms and 27,000 square feet of meeting space, including an indoor amphitheater that can accommodate 110 people. “Milestone is an industry leader among hospitality ownership and management companies and we are happy to introduce the Red Lion name to yet another market as part of our nationwide growth plan through this fantastic location,” said RLHC Chief Franchising Officer Brian Quinn. “This property will be a perfect fit for our expansive and growing group business, as well as leisure and business travelers. It is in the center of a capital city surrounded by some of the country’s largest corporations and historic attractions. We thank Milestone for placing their confidence in our team at RLHC.”
