ROSEMARY BEACH, Fla.—The Pearl opened its doors this week in Rosemary Beach, Fla., bringing a new luxury property to Florida’s Emerald Coast.
The Pearl, a 55-room boutique property, offers guestrooms stocked with complimentary Nordaq FRESH water and fresh juices, in-room spa products by skincare expert Kerstin Florian, and complimentary wi-fi. The Pearl is also the first property in the United States to offer in-room Apple TVs. Other hotel amenities include a spa, access to the Rosemary Beach Fitness and Tennis Club, in-room iPads, and a poll with cabanas.
Executive Chef Michael Guerra heads up the hotel’s culinary program at venues including Havana Beach Bar and Grill, and the more casual rooftop bar and restaurant Sol Luna. The Pearl sources meat, fish, and produce for the restaurants from small production, family-owned businesses within 100 miles of Rosemary Beach, such as City Greens Farms, Ocheesee Creamery and Camp Flowers Honey. In addition, The Pearl has commissioned two local artists to create one-of-a-kind pieces for The Pearl, including Tommy Crow, whose photography and videography installations adorn the walls and Allison Wickey, who created a mural for The Pearl’s private dining room.
“The Pearl has been constructed to perfectly emulate the coastal lifestyle and spirit of Florida’s Emerald Coast, through offering a harmonic blend of luxury and leisure with impeccable service and accommodations for our guests” says Bill Shoaf, managing director. “We look forward to welcoming guests and locals alike to experience all The Pearl has to offer.”
