La Quinta Inns & Suites has announced an intent to sell 46 of its company-owned assets which no longer meet the brand criteria. The sale of these properties will serve to enhance the brand’s image and competitive position in the industry.
“This announcement is consistent with the company’s strategy to grow and continuously improve our product offering and guest experience,” said Wayne Goldberg, La Quinta’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to replacing many of these properties with new construction La Quinta Inn & Suites.”
Currently, there are 823 La Quinta hotels across the United States, Mexico and Canada.
