Coral Hospitality Launches New Adventure Lodge Program

NAPLES, Fla.—Coral Hospitality, a full-service hospitality management and investment company, recently debuted a new adventure lodge program at The Lodge at Amicalola Falls and The Lodge & Conference Center at Unicoi State Parks in the North Georgia Mountains. The initiative comes on the heels of a recently completed renovation program totaling nearly $8 million.

“Coral Hospitality continues seeking innovative ways to showcase our expertise, from operations to renovations and from property management to the creation of revenue-generating opportunities,” said Heath Carter, regional vice president, sales and marketing. “We are thrilled to celebrate the completion of our recent renovations in Georgia with the added bonus of a new program we are all very excited about.”

Both The Lodge at Amicalola Falls and The Lodge & Conference Center at Unicoi State Parks were recently renovated with redesigned lobbies, new furnishings, refreshed guestrooms, and cabins. In addition to the resort renovations, Coral Hospitality has created an “Adventure Lodges of Georgia” program that combines pre-existing adventure activities with an array of new offerings ideal for families and corporate team-building groups, among others. Both properties now feature treetop ziplines, GPS scavenger hunts, 3D archery, climbing walls, and designated GoPro parks, which offer rentals and classes for guests looking to record their adventures on action cameras.

The Lodge at Amicalola Falls introduced guided hikes of the falls and guided fitness trail runs, survivalist camping and a Birds of Prey tour, which gives guests a closer look at falcons, owls, and hawks. The Lodge & Conference Center at Unicoi will offer lessons in fly fishing, paddle boarding, and kayak fishing, as well as an introduction to mountain biking and primitive camping under the stars.
