TEL AVIV, Israel—Atlas Hotels announced that two new boutique hotels will open in Israel this spring. The opening of Arthur Hotel in Jerusalem is set for March 3 and Hotel Bay Club in Haifa will open on March. This will mark the company’s first hotel in Haifa and its second in Jerusalem.
Bay Club Haifa is situated midway between Haifa Bay and the peak of Mount Carmel. Housed in a historic building, the hotel offers 53 guestrooms, a fitness room, and a lounge that opens to a sitting area in the garden. Built in the 1920s the hotel stays true to the original Art Deco structure by keeping pieces such as the white and black marble flooring along with the entrance. In addition four floors were added to the hotel with each one exactly matching the original exterior of the building.
The Arthur Hotel sits in the heart of the Ben Yehudah promenade in central Jerusalem and offers 54 guestrooms. The hotel, named after historic figure Lord Arthur Balfour, was built in the colonial style and was financed through a joint investment between property owners Eli Yochanan Engineers Ltd. and Atlas Hotels for 35 million shekels.
