Hotel Leaders Recognized in CMO Influence Study

    In this year’s CMO Influence Study presented by Forbes, ScribbleLive, LinkedIn, two hospitality industry leaders have been recognized for their power in marketing. Dorothy Dowling, Best Western International’s senior vice president, marketing and sales, ranked 18th on the list, while Stephanie Linnartz, executive vice president and chief marketing and commercial officer at Marriott International, ranked 48th in the fourth annual study, which evaluates the highest-ranking marketing officers from the Forbes Global 500 Largest Companies list based on 100 million articles from news, blog, and social media sources, among other factors. Other honorees include Apple’s Phil Schiller and General Electric’s Beth Comstock.
