Direct Booking Value Nearly Double That of Third Parties

    As of late, many major hotel companies have been encouraging would-be guests to book direct. And this push is paying off, according to a new study from SiteMinder. Poring over 43.5 million reservations, SiteMinder found that the average reservation made through SiteMinder’s Channel Manager—which helps hotels distribute via third parties—was valued at $340.
