Cuba Demand Outweighs Supply

    While the Cuba travel market is tempting for travelers, it is proving to be frustrating to arrange trips to the island, with strong demand beating out the country’s level of supply. Though U.S. tourism has grown 70 percent in the past year, there is a lack of upscale, centrally-located hotels for tourists. Marriott expects to begin opening hotels in Cuba as early as 2017.
