In 2015, 7.2 million jobs were added to the travel and tourism industries, reports the World Travel and Tourism Council. Travel and tourism spending grew by 3.1 percent overall, while spending in the U.S. increasing by 6.3 percent and spending in Mexico increasing by 28.9 percent.
