With Super Bowl 50 coming to San Francisco in just a few months, room rates are spiking, according to ABC.
On a typical week night, room rates in the city are around $400. During Super Bowl weekend, however, prices at some hotels will start at $1,500, with suites going up to $10,000 a night. With demand on hoteliers’ side even three months ahead of the event, there is nothing from stopping luxury hotels from aiming for $250,000 per night in penthouse suites.
