COLUMBUS, Ohio—Red Roof Inn is on the move, and so are some of its employees. The following are the most recent announcements and promotions:
Aaron Stenhoff, recently promoted from director of marketing & digital at Red Roof to vice president of marketing & digital, has over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing with 13 years of digital experience. For much of his career, he has been working in the travel industry. Outside of travel, Stenhoff has worked with brands such as In-N-Out Burger, Science Diet, and Pepsi.
Leslie Fisher has been promoted to vice president of human resources and training after serving as director of training for six years. Prior to starting at Red Roof in 2007, Fisher worked as director of employee development & training at NationsRent and is also a former executive with several national restaurant chains.
Timothy Wiersma, named vice president of revenue management at Red Roof, came from the private firm Revenue Generation. In his new role at Red Roof, Wiersma will specialize in property and portfolio revenue management, business intelligence, distressed-asset turnaround, and asset assessment. In addition, he will develop revenue management tools in order to foster situational analysis and strategic execution.
With a career in the lodging industry spanning over nearly two decades, Matt Dees has been named franchise development director. Previously, he served as director of franchise development for Motel 6 and Studio 6. Dees will be responsible for developing and growing the brand in the western region, including the Northern California, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado markets.
