Hotels Ramp Up Sex Trafficking Awareness Training

    In an effort to combat sex trafficking in Omaha, Neb., Magnolia Hotel has become the first participant in a pilot project that trains hotel staff to spot and address victims, according to Omaha.com. The project, helmed by the Coalition on Human Trafficking, aims to raise awareness and provide hotels with tips to deal with the issue through information sessions.

    On May 11, it was announced that the Baltimore City Council passed a bill requiring a similar training program for employees of Baltimore hotels.
