The fourth stateside AC Hotels by Marriott may find a home in Minneapolis. On Nov. 6, real estate and construction firm M.A. Mortenson Co. announced plans for the $48 million construction project, which will be nine stories and 244 rooms. If the city approves Mortenson’s formal proposal for the hotel, construction is expected to be complete by 2016.
