Agnès Pierre-Louis has over fifteen years of international experience in hotel operations, real estate, and hospitality strategy. In her current role as Director of Horwath HTL’s Miami office, she focuses on predevelopment consulting for hotels, residential real estate, and master-planned communities in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
With strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of the industry, Pierre-Louis develops successful strategies that maximize value for all project stakeholders. Recent assignments include market assessment of a luxury resort and branded real estate development in Mexico, brand selection for an all-inclusive property in Jamaica, assessing the growth strategy for a wellness resort brand in the United States, and repositioning a lifestyle hotel in Scottsdale.
Prior to her work at Horwath HTL, Pierre-Louis managed a 95-key independent property in Haiti and was responsible for re-launching and restructuring the company. She also worked in Sales for Marriott International and resort development consultancy with Economics Research Associates in London. Her experience in both luxury markets and emerging destinations throughout Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean have helped her develop acute problem-solving skills and a passion for innovative and sustainable solutions.
Pierre-Louis holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management from Cornell University, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Pierre-Louis has had articles published in numerous trade journals and is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
