Research Reveals Travelers’ Top Hotel Priorities

Research from Toluna has revealed that access to technology is of the utmost importance to travelers looking to book a hotel.

The survey questioned a representative sample of 1,000 U.S. consumers in April. According to the report, 71 percent of consumers said Wi-Fi is expected to be provided in the hotel. The only item consumers felt more strongly about was having a comfortable bed in the guestroom.

Those surveyed also showed that guests value in-room entertainment, with 69 percent requiring a television as a standard amenity. This ranked higher on the list of priorities than a hotel having a fitness center, spa, or access to the beach.
