    This week’s presidential inauguration is expected to draw droves of protestors and supporters alike, making this week an extremely profitable time for hotels. Federal and local officials in Washington, D.C., are preparing to accommodate one million visitors—a drop from the record 1.8 million who attended the 2009 inauguration of President Barack Obama, but still enough to triple typical midweek visitation numbers.
