John Fareed, Horwath HTL, and Rick Garlick, Magid

John Fareed, MSc CHME ISHC, is Chairman North America for Horwath HTL, a global hotel, tourism, and leisure consulting firm. He holds two postgraduates including a Master of Science degree from the Dublin Institute of Technology's School of Hospitality Management and Tourism in Dublin, Ireland, as well as a Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management Certificate from Cornell University. Rick Garlick, Ph.D., is Vice President and Strategy Consultant for Magid, a consumer insights firm.  He has a diverse research and consulting background that includes extensive experience with customer experience management, employee engagement measurement and training; talent selection; brand research; customer loyalty programs; image and awareness studies; and national opinion polling.
