After May’s slowdown in job growth, June proved to be a good month for employment, with the private sector increasing by 172,000 jobs from May to June, according to ADP’s National Employment Report. Small businesses added 95,000 jobs in June, while franchise jobs increased by 40,700. Within that sector, accommodations added 1,000 jobs. Tomorrow, the Bureau of Labor Statistics will release its June report of nonfarm payrolls, which economists expect to have risen by 165,000 last month, up 38,000 from May. To read more, click here.
