The Terrace at Trump Opens in Chicago

CHICAGO—The Terrace at Trump, an outdoor dining venue, has opened at the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago. The 16th floor outdoor restaurant showcases unobstructed views of the Chicago River and its famed bridges, the Wrigley Clock Tower, and Lake Michigan.

Outdoor diners arrive at The Terrace at Trump via the 16th Floor Bridges Room, one of the hotel’s intimate dining spaces. The space features custom-designed lounge, booth, and table seating accented with royal blue, coral, and white cushions.

Executive Chef Michael Fiddler’s menu focuses on utilizing farm-fresh ingredients, and the beverage menu offers seasonal selections that fit any palate. Menu highlights include three levels of decadent seafood towers offering oysters, Alaskan king crab legs, and lobster. The “By the Glass” section includes items like Caribbean Crab Cocktail with jumbo lump crab and Bottle Rocket Shrimp served in a roasted tomato cocktail sauce topped with avocado and pico de gallo. Fiddler’s “With a Fork” menu category presents a salads, and the “With Your Fingers” section highlights favorites like Terrace Sliders with Wagyu beef; the Summer Lobster Roll; and Smoked Chicken Wings.

The Terrace at Trump’s cocktail features balanced, refreshing cocktails, some of which include the Ramos – a new take on the classic gin fizz with Plymouth Gin, flower water, lemon juice, simple syrup, cream, and soda water; the Mojito – Flor de Caña 4, lime juice, soda water and mint foam; and the Monk Swizzle – green chartreuse, acidulated pineapple juice and bitters. Beer selections include craft brews from local breweries.
