The Kessler Collection Announces Brand Expansion

ORLANDO, Fla.—The Kessler Collection, a portfolio of ten boutique hotels and restaurants, announced its continued expansion with upcoming developments throughout the United States. The brand will add four new hotels in Charleston, S.C., Birmingham, Ala., Savannah, Ga. and Healdsburg, Calif. expected to open between 2013 and 2015.

Kessler, chairman and CEO of The Kessler Collection. “Delivering on our development strategy, we’re thrilled to make extensive progress in creating inspiring places for guests in these popular destinations.”

Set to debut in late 2014, Bohemian Hotel Charleston will mark The Kessler Collection’s first property in South Carolina. The 50-room luxury boutique hotel, located in Charleston’s Historic District, is proposed to incorporate diverse offerings including an on-site Grand Bohemian Gallery, as well as a rooftop restaurant and terrace.

Similarly, Birmingham will welcome Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook, located in the city’s Lane Parke development in late 2014, introducing an unmatched lodging experience to the market. Continuing The property will also offer an on-site Grand Bohemian Art Gallery, signature Poseidon Spa, and rooftop bar and restaurant.

A third hotel development in Savannah, Ga. is slated to join The Kessler Collection’s sister properties, Mansion on Forsyth Park and Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront in fall 2015. As proposed, this 177-room hotel will feature multiple dining outlets, retail space, an art gallery and rooftop bar, all located along the Savannah River in the transformed Georgia Power Plant, originally built in 1912.

Additionally, the brand plans to further its growth with prospective locations in California, including the Napa and Sonoma County areas. The Kessler Collection’s first California hotel development has been proposed to open in downtown Healdsburg.
