Tennessee Howard Johnson Rebrands as Magnuson Hotel Knoxville

Magnuson Hotels announced the complete rebranding of the 162-room Magnuson Hotel Knoxville.

Formerly franchised by Wyndham Hotels as the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Knoxville, the hotel will upgrade its local, regional, and national market to attract business, group and leisure travelers via an affiliation with Magnuson Hotels’ global portfolio of nearly 2,000 hotels.

This Magnuson Hotels affiliate offers guests a restaurant, on site bar, free continental breakfast served Monday through Friday, breakfast menu on Saturday and Sunday, seasonal outdoor pool with one just for the kids, free high speed wireless Internet, dry cleaning pick-up and delivery, meeting/banquet facilities, wake up calls and pets are welcome with additional charges.

The Magnuson Hotel Knoxville will receive global brand representation without the costs and requirements of franchise brand affiliation. It will expand its business through Magnuson Hotels’ hotel reservation network including 650,000 GDS travel agents, all global corporate accounts, over 2,000 internet booking channels such as Global Hotel Exchange, Expedia, Hotels.com, Priceline, and all major airlines websites.
