Starwood Opens Sheraton in San Jose Costa Rica

STAMFORD, Conn.—Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and EXT Promociones S.A. announced the opening of Sheraton San Jose, marking the return of the Sheraton brand into Costa Rica. Managed by GHL Hoteles, the 172 room hotel will offer all of the brand’s signature amenities and services, including Sheraton Club Lounge, the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft, and Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance.

The opening of the Sheraton San Jose is part of Sheraton’s global expansion plan, which seeks to reach a milestone of 500 hotels by 2015.
