Second Value Hotel Worldwide to be Built in South Korea

CLEVELAND—Just two months ago, Value Hotel Worldwide announced it was developing the first upscale hotel in the newly created city of Sejong, South Korea. Today, it announced a second development of a new-construction, Value Hotel Worldwide in the city of Suwon, located just 22 miles south of Seoul.

A highly industrialized business area, Suwon is the headquarters of Samsung Electronics, as well as many other large corporations and manufacturers. The Value Hotel Worldwide, located just steps away from Samsung’s doors, will cater to both domestic and international business travelers.

The 20-floor, 300-room hotel includes five floors of underground parking, shops, offices, restaurants, and lounges. Amenities include an exercise room, spa, meeting space, banquet facilities, as well as Wi-Fi in guest rooms and public areas. This new construction hotel is expected to open in December of this year.

“There is such a great need for world-class lodging in many of the major cities of South Korea, and this development clearly meets that need,” said Bill Hanley, managing director of international development for Vantage Hospitality. “Vantage’s affiliation with Joon Park and Service Legend has allowed us to bring our global resources and strong distribution channels to South Korea.”
