Sage Hospitality Acquires Holiday Inn Atlanta Perimeter

ATLANTA—Hunter Hotel Advisors announced today that they represented an institutional investor out of Los Angeles, in the sale of the Holiday Inn Atlanta Perimeter in Dunwoody, Ga. The hotel was purchased through a joint venture between Denver-based Sage Hospitality, a national hotel management company out of Colorado, and Whitman Peterson, a national real estate private equity firm. The new owners are planning to renovate and rebrand the hotel as a DoubleTree by Hilton.

“Our client was able to capitalize on the strong projected growth of the market with the planned development of new corporate campuses for Mercedes-Benz and State Farm, both located within miles of the hotel,” said Teague Hunter, president of Hunter Hotel Advisors. “The Perimeter region is one of Atlanta’s most dynamic markets.”
