On the Move: This Week’s Comings and Goings

Brett Keller has been named chief executive officer at Priceline.com in Norwalk, Conn. Keller was named interim CEO of Priceline.com in June 2016 after serving as chief operating officer of the business, and prior to that, chief marketing officer.

Here’s a look at other notable job moves that took place this week:

Kevin Carl has been appointed executive vice president and global chief information technology officer for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. In his new role, Carl will lead and direct the global IT organization.

Benchmark has named Brett Atkinson senior vice president of finance. Atkinson was previously chief financial officer for Gemstone Hotels & Resorts, which merged with Benchmark in July. In addition to his role with Gemstone, Atkinson was a partner in a Marriott-approved select-service hotel management company, which he recently sold.

Remington Hotels has named Ted Peters as its new vice president of culinary, overseeing all culinary teams of the hotel management company’s luxury division. Peters will be responsible for cultivating restaurant concepts, developing kitchen design and functionality, menu development and vendor procurements.

Noble House Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Heidi Dennis as general manager at Pelican Grand Beach Resort. In this role, Dennis will be responsible for managing the resort’s day-to-day success, overseeing all operational aspects for the boutique resort, as well as budget while maximizing revenue and maintaining focus on strategic goals.

Coast Hotels has appointed Nathan Gray as its new regional director of revenue management. In his new position, Gray will be responsible for overseeing some of Coast’s most premier properties including The Benson Hotel in Portland, Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel in Wenatchee, and Coast Gateway in SeaTac, Wash.

Miramonte Resort & Spa, located just outside of Palm Springs, Calif., has announced the appointment of two new members to its executive culinary team: Jeffrey “JC” Converse as director of food and beverage and Paul Hancock as executive chef. Converse previously served as beverage operations manager with Aramark Sports and Entertainment. Hancock previously served as assistant director of culinary experiences at The Camby.

Carrie Wicks has been appointed CEO of Leeu Collection, effective immediately. Wicks was previously operations director at Firmdale Hotels, in the United Kingdom, where she worked for 19 years and was responsible for Firmdale’s growth operationally.

Lourdes Harkins has been named director of human resources for Doral Arrowwood by Benchmark Resorts & Hotels in Rye Brook, N.Y. Harkins brings 22 years of leadership experience in human resources management to her new position. She was previously area director of human resources for Destinations Hotel & Resorts, based at Tarrytown Estate and Conference Center.

Intelity has announced the addition of Gregg Hopkins as the company’s chief sales and marketing officer. Hopkins was a co-founder of Libra OnDemand, where he led the organization as its president and CEO. Most recently, Hopkins was the founder of boutique marketing consulting and technology firm, Gregg Hopkins & Associates.
