On the Move: This Week’s Comings and Goings

Hilton Worldwide has announced the appointment of Ronen Nissenbaum as vice president of operations, luxury hotels–Americas. In the newly created position, he will be responsible for all Hilton Worldwide luxury properties within the region inclusive of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts. Since June 2014, he has served as managing director of the Waldorf Astoria New York and Towers of the Waldorf Astoria New York.

Here is a look at more notable job moves that took place this week:

Robert Pratt has joined O’Neill Hotels & Resorts as president of ONE Hospitality, the company’s operating division. For the past four years, he served as president of Coast Hotels.

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Jolene Reid director of development for Canada. She previously launched a successful chain of spa franchises in Canada, and served as director of development for Travelodge Canada.

InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Jonathan Lund regional vice president, Canada franchise performance support. Throughout his 30-year career, 20 years have been spent working at IHG-managed hotels. Prior to his hiring, Lund worked for Fortis Properties as director of hospitality operations.

Manual Rozehmal has been appointed executive chef of The Farm, a restaurant showcased in the Park City resort. He has worked in his home in Germany, as well as in Switzerland and in Dana Point, Calif., at Stonehill Tavern.

Marcus & Milichap has named Peter L. Nichols national director of its National Hospitality Group. Most recently, he was senior vice president of business development for Richfield Hospitality.

Hilton Worldwide has announced the promotion of Sean Kennerty to the position of general manager of Hilton Dallas/Park Cities. Kennerty has been with Hilton since 2004, and most recently served as director of rooms at Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas.

Gregory Daiker has joined LEO A DALY as design director for hospitality interiors. He is a 37-year veteran in high-end luxury and international hospitality design.

AHC+Hospitality has announced the promotion of Anna Fortier as the new director of event management at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. She began her career with JW Marriott Grand Rapids in 2010.

Jorge Cardenas has been named the new executive chef for Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach. Most recently, Cardenas served as chef de cuisine at the Soho Beach House in Miami, Fla.
