ABERDEEN, South Dakota—My Place Hotels of America announced today the return of its My Place Convention, set for September 22–24, 2026, at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, Florida. The 2026 event will carry the theme “Rooted in Hospitality,” represented visually by the banyan tree.

“‘Rooted in Hospitality’ is both a tribute to our heritage and a vision for our future,” said Ryan Rivett, president and chief executive officer, My Place Hotels of America. “Like the banyan tree, our strength comes from many connections working together as one. This theme captures how My Place continues to branch out while staying grounded in the hospitality values that define us.”

The three-day convention will welcome hotel owners, operators, developers, and industry partners for a program of keynotes, market outlooks, and interactive sessions, alongside networking events. The convention will also include discussions with industry leaders, hands-on educational sessions from the My Place team, multiple networking opportunities for franchisees to connect, and a trade show. Registration is now open and available.
