Mexico’s First TRYP by Wyndham Hotel Opens

MEXICO, D.F.—Wyndham Hotel Group today announced the opening of TRYP by Wyndham Mexico City World Trade Center, the first TRYP by Wyndham hotel in the country.

The hotel is located steps from the World Trade Center, and only six miles from Mexico City International Airport. It is also within walking distance to shops, museums, and restaurants, as well as the Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros, the cultural and social center of the city.

TRYP by Wyndham Mexico City becomes the brand’s 20th hotel in Latin America. The brand currently has hotels open and operating in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, and Uruguay.

TRYP by Wyndham Mexico City World Trade Center offers a fitness center, free Wi-Fi, complimentary buffet breakfast, a business center, indoor parking, and a restaurant on the top floor that serves local specialties.

Each of its guestrooms offer a flat screen TV, a work desk, a mini bar, an in-room safe, and an in-room coffee and tea maker. The hotel also features the brand’s signature guestrooms, including a family room that provides room enough for four as well as an outdoor terrace, and a fitness room stocked with an exercise machine for a private workout.

A meeting room allows hosting of small banquets, conferences, and presentations for up to 35 people, as well as catering and event planning services provided by the hotel staff.

The TRYP by Wyndham portfolio consists of more than 120 properties around the world representing more than 16,900 rooms.
