Magnuson Announces Co-Op Advertising Plan

LONDON—Magnuson Hotels has announced that it will be reinvesting 20 percent of the fees paid by each member hotel into local co-op marketing.

“We are proud to break away from the normal practices and demonstrate to our hotels our commitment to providing them with the highest level of consumer awareness at no additional cost to the owners”, stated company CEO Thomas Magnuson. “We are dedicated to providing more at a lower cost than any other hotel group”.

The co-op advertising may include anything from supporting local sports teams and charities to billboards and AAA advertising. The Magnuson marketing team will work closely with individual hotels to provide personal support wherever it may be required.

“We applaud Magnuson’s new marketing plans and especially its commitment to assisting us with co-operative advertising. It’s the extras that we receive from this brand without additional fees that sets Magnuson apart from the other franchises we own,” said Bret Wirta, CEO, Magnuson Hotel Papago Inn and Wirta Hospitality Worldwide.
