Loews Regency New York Partners with Chocolate Brand

NEW YORK—Loews Regency New York Hotel has partnered with New York City chocolate brand La Maison du Chocolat, to celebrate the holiday season. Starting Dec. 1, Loews Regency began offering a variety of sweet surprises, including a Hot Chocolate Happy Hour in the hotel’s lobby lounge, a new Stay and Savor overnight package and a limited time only La Maison du Chocolat dessert menu in The Regency Bar & Grill. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary in New York City, La Maison du Chocolat originally hails from the culinary capital of Paris, where the brand has fine-tuned its chocolate making techniques for almost 40 years. In October 2015, La Maison also unveiled its newly renovated flagship store on Madison Avenue.

“The holiday season in New York City is an enchanting experience that we wanted to interpret in a spirited and meaningful way for our guests,” said Simon Mais, managing director of Loews Regency. “Partnering with La Maison du Chocolat to celebrate the holidays was a natural fit given the chocolatier’s passion for innovation and commitment to unique, handmade products, which we are delighted to share with our guests.”

During December, guests staying at Loews Regency are invited to indulge in a Hot Chocolate Happy Hour between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday. Chocolate enthusiasts can sip a mug of hot chocolate made exclusively with La Maison du Chocolat to warm up after a day spent holiday shopping or sightseeing. While complimentary, any donations made during Hot Chocolate Happy Hour will directly benefit Donors Choose, an online charity that supports public school children and provides funding for various classroom resources and supplies.

Loews Regency’s new Stay and Savor Package is available for stays throughout December. In addition to overnight accommodation, the Stay and Savor Package includes dinner for two at The Regency Bar & Grill followed by the decadent La Maison du Chocolat dessert menu, an invitation to a complimentary chocolate tasting at La Maison du Chocolat’s Madison Avenue boutique, a $100 credit to La Maison du Chocolat, and a Tasse de Chocolat turndown amenity.
