Loews Hotels & Resorts Expands National Sales Office

NEW YORK CITY—Loews Hotels and Resorts has announced added depth to its national sales team with the appointment of three new executive directors. Kerri Metcalf has been named executive director of Northern California and Northwest; Ramel C. Kelly for New York and Connecticut; and Brigitte Lundrigan for Southern California and the Southwest. In their new roles, each will focus on building long-term relationships with their respective corporate and association accounts for the brand’s entire portfolio.

“As Loews Hotels continues to grow, we have once again added industry leading talent to provide laser focus on some of our most important, strategic points of sale,” said David Wiener, senior vice president of sales, Loews Hotels and Resorts. “Kerri, Ramel, and Brigitte have nearly 50 combined years of hospitality sales experience, and each has the skills necessary to add new and grow existing accounts. Loews values heavily its business partner relationships, and this significant growth in the size of our national sales network supports that philosophy.”

Prior to joining Loews, Kerri Metcalf was key account director with InterContinental Hotels Group, where she was responsible for the outside solicitation, development, and maintenance of her West Coast territory. Ramel C. Kelly most recently was global account director for Dolce Hotels and Resorts. During her tenure there, she was responsible for providing account leadership through direct sales efforts with an emphasis on growing both Northeastern and international business. Kelly has held a number of hospitality sales and marketing positions, including corporate account director of New York for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, director of sales and marketing of Jersey City, N.J., for Hilton Hotels Corporation, and major market sales manager of the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.
