IHG Opens Tenth Holiday Inn in Thailand

BANGKOK, Thailand—IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) opened Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit 22 last month, marking the company’s third Holiday Inn hotel in the city and its tenth in Thailand.

The 29-story tower offers 300 guestrooms and luxury suites, as well as facilities including a business center, outdoor lap pool, fitness center, and a variety of event space, including a grand ballroom, which can cater for up to 800 guests. The property also offers free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Dining options include Zeta Cafe, the all-day dining restaurant; Lounge 9, with a tapas-style food menu and refreshments; and Maya, the rooftop restaurant bar that serves Indian cuisine.

Shantha De Silva, director of operations, South East Asia added: “Every year millions of travellers stay at Holiday Inn hotels around the world. We continue to cement the brand’s presence in Thailand and have now reached a milestone with ten Holiday Inn hotels in the country.”

The hotel’s opening brings the number of IHG hotels in Thailand to 17.
