Hotel Adagio San Francisco to Join Autograph Collection

ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Chesapeake Lodging Trust announced that it has entered into an agreement with Marriott International with plans for its Hotel Adagio San Francisco to join Autograph Collection, Marriott International’s global collection of independent hotels.

Following the trust’s multi-million dollar renovation at the hotel, which included the transformation of each of the hotel’s 171 guestrooms, penthouse suites, and public spaces, expansion of the meeting and event space, and creation of a newly concepted restaurant and lobby bar, the company is looking to reposition the hotel within the market.

Chesapeake is in the process of completing minor brand upgrades that will allow for the interface into the Marriott International global reservation and service systems, and anticipates completion of this process within the next 60 days. “We are thrilled to bring our second Autograph Collection hotel into the portfolio,” said James L. Francis, president and chief executive officer of Chesapeake Lodging Trust. “Beginning in April, guests will enjoy the many benefits of staying with an Autograph Collection hotel, including the opportunity to earn Marriott Rewards points for their stay at Hotel Adagio San Francisco.”

Hotel Adagio San Francisco is managed by Southern California-based Evolution Hospitality.
