Hospitality Companies Among FORTUNE’s 2018 Most Admired Companies

FORTUNE Magazine has released its 2018 “World’s Most Admired Companies” list and rankings for the hospitality industry. Each year, FORTUNE conducts a survey to compile the list, working with top industry executives and analysts to rate companies based on nine categories that range from financial soundness to social responsibility. The list provides a report card on corporate reputations in a variety of fields including consumer products, power, natural resources, and hospitality.

Marriott International ranked 24th on the top 50 list of “Most Admired” companies from around the world. The company also topped the hotels, casinos, and resorts industry ranking, coming in at number one for nearly every category including innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, and global competitiveness.

In the industry rankings for hotels, casinos, and resorts, Hilton Worldwide ranked second followed by Wynn Resorts, MGM Resorts International, Hyatt Hotels, and Las Vegas Sands, respectively. Wynn Resorts ranked number one among hotels, casinos, and resorts for quality of products and services.
