Homewood Suites by Hilton Announces Two New Hotel Openings

McLean, Va.—Homewood Suites by Hilton announced the opening of its two newest properties: Newport Middletown, R.I. and Fort Worth Medical Center, Texas. The two new property openings push Homewood Suites’ North American footprint to 325 hotels and double first and second quarter openings compared with the same period in 2012.

“Demand for extended-stay product remains strong and we expect that Homewood Suites will continue to enjoy a healthy spike in new development,” said Bill Duncan, global head, Homewood Suites by Hilton. “Consistently evaluating our product to meet the evolving needs of both owners and guests, each hotel will feature Homewood’s new Gen9 design prototype which provides a scalable solution for multiple markets while remaining true to the brand’s value proposition.”

Owned by Main Hotel and managed by J. Karam Management, the four story, 92-suite Homewood Suites Newport Middletown is led by General Manager Bonnie Brake and supported by Director of Sales Liz Pereira. Owned by Fort Worth Midtown Lodging Partners and managed by Raymond Management Company, the four story, 112-suite Homewood Suites Fort Worth – Medical Center is led by General Manager Angela Wills and supported by Director of Sales Meredith Brown.

Each hotel offers guests studio and one-bedroom suites (with Fort Worth also offering two-bedroom suites), with additional guest amenities including a daily complimentary full hot breakfast, a full evening meal with drinks, and a 24-hour on-site pantry. The hotels also offer fitness centers, pools, sports courts, 24-hour executive business centers and flexible meeting space.
