McLean, Va.—Home2 Suites by Hilton announced the opening of its thirteenth U.S. hotel in Frisco, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
“As one of the fastest-growing cities in America, Frisco is an ideal location to debut our second property in Texas,” said Bill Duncan, global head, Home2 Suites by Hilton, in an announcement. “Fortune 500 businesses, sports venues, shopping and dining are all within minutes of the hotel. The location itself is an added amenity for our guests, along with the Home2’s award-winning concept and contemporary design.”
The five-story, 122-suite hotel provides the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, Spin2 Cycle, and the “Inspired Table” daily complimentary breakfast. The Home2 Suites Frisco also features an outdoor saline pool, an exercise trail that winds around the property, and a covered patio with gas grills for al fresco dining and relaxation. Eco-friendly touches include water-conserving dual-flush toilets, on-site recycling, and green building materials, such as recycled wall vinyl.
Home2 Suites by Hilton currently operates 13 hotels and has nearly 70 properties in the development pipeline. Future properties are slated for many of the nation’s major markets, including Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Denver. Home2 Suites also recently announced its first signed deal in Edmonton, Canada, and is approved for expansion into Mexico.
