Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island Debuts Event Space

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.—A breath of fresh salt air is sweeping through Jekyll Island with the newly opened event space at the Holiday Inn Resort. Ideal for meetings, reunions, and weddings, the recently opened Beach House full-service restaurant and the adjacent 3,000-square-foot event space marked the completion of the $22 million restoration and rebranding that began in March of last year. The oceanfront restaurant and event space’s design mimics the pristine shoreline and remarkable ocean view settings, which all come together to encapsulate the spirit of the island. The culinary team is led by Food and Beverage Director Luke Kelly.

The state of the art event space has a large ballroom that can be transformed into four different ballrooms and can accommodate up to 333 people. In addition to the ballrooms, the event space has a separate boardroom for a more intimate setting for up to 10 people. The Beach House on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers catering to all events. Designed to complement the seaside vibe, décor includes nautical rope, oyster shells, and driftwood. The Beach House menu features fresh, locally-sourced seafood and southern coastal classics.

In their leisure time, event attendees can enjoy the salty breeze with the Beach House’s outdoor shuffleboard, bocce ball lawn, and porch and patio seating. Additionally, The Tap Room at Beach House will feature 24 draft beers, including an array of craft brews that can be enjoyed alone or paired with food selections.
