Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington Reveals Revamp

MINNEAPOLIS—The Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington hotel has announced the completion of a $2 million renovation of the property. The remodeling introduces a fresh, sleek, and contemporary design throughout the hotel and includes renovations of the lobby area and entrance, food and beverage outlets, meeting space, and HHonors Executive Lounge.

“Guests will enjoy a complete transformation of the public areas, featuring new design elements and décor emphasizing contemporary silvers, grays, and pearls as well as modern aesthetics. We believe this renovation will make the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington hotel one of the city’s most popular destinations for leisure and business travelers alike,” said Jim Waldvogel, general manager.

Guests will be welcomed by new décor and design elements as they first enter the lobby. A Starbucks Grab & Go was added so guests can enjoy traditional and seasonal Starbucks beverages daily, as well as fresh baked pastries, fresh fruit, granola parfaits, and other refreshments.

Olive Bar & Lounge, featuring breakfast, small plates, classic entrees, salads and happy hour specials, was transformed into a contemporary space to work and play, featuring clean lines with modern sophistication. A 750-square-foot bar serves as the focal point of the lounge, surrounded by booth and table seating. Three 60-inch flat screen TVs line the wall, perfect for enjoying sporting events or the latest happenings. A window divides the lounge from the lobby area.

The hotel’s 5,040-square-foot American Ballroom was completely renovated with new carpeting, decor, and contemporary chandeliers. Dramatic silver and bronze chandeliers accentuate the revitalized space, with a grey and natural palette that provides a more modern look to the meeting space. Foyer space includes new furniture with enhanced technology, including work desks with power and USB outlets.

HHonors and VIP travelers will be welcomed by a completely renovated Executive Lounge. The remodeled lounge also includes new furnishings including a mix of relaxing lounge and task-oriented, communal seating. Added power and USB outlets were also added to provide guests with a relaxing, convenient VIP guest experience.

“We are excited to unveil the new renovations to our guests and the community as we maintain our position as one of Minneapolis’ premier hotels,” added Waldvogel.
