Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon Baani Square Opens in India

NEW DELHI, India—Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon Baani Square. This is the second Hilton Garden Inn brand hotel in the country. With this opening, Hilton Worldwide now managed seven hotels in Delhi NCR.

Operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by the Baani Group, the hotel features 201 guestrooms and offers the brand’s signature offerings that include complimentary internet access; 24-hour complimentary business center facilities; complimentary remote printing service; and the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry convenience mart.

“We are delighted to open the second Hilton Garden Inn hotel in India. With the launch of this property, Hilton Worldwide now operates seven hotels in Delhi NCR and a total of 12 hotels in the country with a presence in Mumbai, Chennai, Shillim (near Mumbai), Vadodara and Goa, besides the National Capital Region”, said Martin Rinck, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide. “We continue to grow our India portfolio through a multi-brand, multiple partners and high-growth strategy. While we are exploring opportunities across all segments, for which we are well positioned with the six brands we are developing in the country, we are placing significant emphasis on the expansion of our mid-market and focused-service brands, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton, to accommodate the exponentially growing demand for mid-priced hotel rooms in the country”.

Each of the 201 guestrooms, including six suites, at Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon Baani Square features Serta beds, a work desk with an ergonomic SAYL chair by Herman Miller, a 32-inch LED television with CD / DVD player, two telephones with voicemail, electronic safe, mini refrigerator, and an iron and ironing board.

The property also offers four meeting rooms, which can accommodate from 20 to 150 people, and 18,000 square feet of conference and banqueting facilities. Recreational opportunities at the hotel include a rooftop swimming pool and 24-hour fitness center by Precor.

“As India is one of the most important markets for Hilton Worldwide, we are delighted to expand our portfolio by opening our second hotel in the country”, said Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn. “We look forward to being the first choice of guests in the region who seek upscale and affordable accommodation.”
