ORLANDO, Fla.—Hard Rock International announced two Hard Rock Hotels in Shenzhen and Haikou, targeted to open in 2015 in collaboration with Mission Hills Group. The 280-room Hard Rock Hotel Shenzhen and 250-room Hard Rock Hotel Haikou will feature Hard Rock’s rock ‘n’ roll design elements, as well as guest amenities inspired by its music roots.
Hard Rock Hotel Shenzhen, at 22-stories tall and covering nearly 10 acres, will feature a Body Rock fitness center, signature restaurants, entertainment lounge, recording studio, and a nightclub.
“The addition of the iconic Hard Rock brand is further evidence of Mission Hills’ powerful international reach,” says Dr. Ken Chu, chairman of Mission Hills Group, in an announcement. “As China’s only hotel embracing and implementing music throughout the guest experience, they will be a welcome addition to our unmatched selection of recreation options in Shenzhen and Haikou.”
