Hampton Expands to Second Russian City

VOLGORAD, Russia—Hampton by Hilton announced the opening of Hampton by Hilton Volgograd Profsoyuznaya in the South East of Russia. The hotel is the economy brand’s latest hotel in Europe and second in Russia, following the recent opening of Hampton by Hilton Voronezh.

With 157 guestrooms across eight floors, the hotel offers signature features including the Clean and Fresh Hampton Bed, complimentary internet access, hot breakfast included in the room rate, and on-site fitness center; as well as flexible meeting space.

Simon Vincent, president, EMEA, Hilton Worldwide, said, “Russia’s potential for tourism is being significantly boosted by the hosting of major events such as the Winter Olympics in 2014 and the FIFA World Cup in 2018. Following a marked increase in inbound tourism to Russia over recent years, we are delighted to be expanding our presence with the opening of a Hampton by Hilton hotel in Volgograd, one of the official host cities in 2018.”
