The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has appointed Chris Budd as the director of sales for the AAA Five Diamond, 649-room resort.
Most recently, Budd was the senior national sales manager at Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas. Previous positions include sales task force manager at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz., director of sales at The Westin Tabor Center in Denver and sales manager at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch, also in Scottsdale.
Budd joins the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, where the final phase of the five-year $60 million renovation was completed this spring. This includes the debut of the Palomino Conference Center, remodeling of the Princess Conference Center, the introduction of the innovative Well & Being at Willow Stream Spa programs for groups and other significant enhancements.
With a distinguished sales record, Budd has consistently received recognition for his performance as a top sales achiever. Budd has outstanding success in cultivating relationships with key corporate decision makers as well as proven his ability in leading and managing sales and administrative teams.
