CLEVELAND, Ohio—DoubleTree by Hilton and Twin Tier Hospitality LLC announced the rebranding of the Hilton Cleveland East Beachwood hotel to the DoubleTree by Hilton brand as of March 11. The rebrand marks the pinnacle of a four-year hotel renovation. As part of the ongoing transformation, a new general manager, Robert Trammell, and new director of sales and marketing, Brenda Goodnight, join the hotel’s management team.
“The Cleveland East – Beachwood hotel has long been the go-to full service hotel in the area for business and leisure travelers,” said Trammell. “Our hotel’s dedication to a superior guest experience aligns perfectly with the DoubleTree by Hilton brand promise to provide the special comforts and acts of kindness that make the traveler feel human again. The DoubleTree by Hilton culture of caring begins with the presentation of a warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in and continues through all aspects of the hotel stay.”
Following the March re-opening as a DoubleTree by Hilton, the property transformation, which began with renovations of the 404 guestrooms, will continue with upgrades to the front desk and lobby areas, as well as a new restaurant and lounge concept that will be unveiled later this year.
“This hotel’s convenient Beachwood location and long-standing reputation with business and leisure travelers in the area make it a perfect addition to the DoubleTree by Hilton family,” said John Greenleaf, global head – DoubleTree by Hilton. “We are happy to play a key role in this tremendous transformation, and bring guests in this market a truly rewarding travel experience.”
The property offers more than 16,000 square feet of flexible meeting space that can accommodate groups of up to 800. Additional amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, a 24-hour fitness center, a 24-hour business center, and complimentary WiFi internet access.
