
ARLINGTON, Virginia—The U.S. hotel industry reported positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar’s latest data through March 28, 2026.

Occupancy: 66.8 percent (up 2.8 percent)
ADR: $170.30 (up 5.4 percent)
RevPAR: $113.81 (up 8.3 percent)
Among the top 25 markets, San Francisco, California, reported the largest increases in each of the three key performance metrics: occupancy (up 26.5 percent to 83.6 percent), ADR (up 74.8 percent to $339.47), and RevPAR (up 121.1 percent to $283.76). The market’s performance was helped by the 35th annual RSA Conference.
Denver, Colorado, which hosted the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, posted the second largest performance gains: occupancy (up 20.2 percent to 71.1 percent), ADR (up 23.5 percent to $158.39), and RevPAR (up 48.5 percent to $112.56).
Overall, 18 of the top 25 markets saw a lift in RevPAR.
