Chesapeake Hospitality to Manage Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers

GREENBELT, Md.—Chesapeake Hospitality, a third-party hotel management company, announced that it has taken over management of the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers in Fort Myers, Fla. Kim Sims, president of Chesapeake Hospitality, made the announcement.

The hotel owners are embarking on a $3 million renovation project. Updates to the property will include a complete refresh of the 126 guestrooms and renovating the lobby to exemplify the Hilton brand’s pavilion concept.

The Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers features a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor pool, and hosts more than 3,500 square feet of meeting/event space.

“We are excited to expand our Florida presence with this truly unique property,” said Sims. “The renovation period will provide us the opportunity to demonstrate the impact of our hands-on management approach, resulting in a reinvigorated atmosphere for guests.”
